Job Title: Construction Superintendent – Heavy Civil

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to manage day-to-day operations on heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with small concrete structures, box culverts, and bridges. This role will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage field operations for small concrete structures, box culverts, and bridge construction projects.
• Supervise and coordinate work crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, and worksite hazards are minimized.
• Monitor project progress, provide updates to management, and address any issues that arise.
• Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Assist with scheduling, material ordering, and procurement as needed.
• Ensure that construction activities adhere to environmental, local, and state regulations.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure work is performed correctly and safely.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on heavy civil projects like small concrete structures, box culverts, and bridges.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, safety standards, and quality control.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• OSHA certification preferred.
