Salary Range: $50k - $75k Permanent Position with Benefits
Position Location: Hybrid/Remote Akron, Cleveland, or Columbus
Local A&E firm is seeking a motivated and technically driven Designer to assist engineers and landscape architects in the development of construction plans for trails, roadways, sidewalks, and active transportation projects.

Local A&E firm is seeking a motivated and technically driven Designer to assist engineers and landscape architects in the development of construction plans for trails, roadways, sidewalks, and active transportation projects.
Duties:
- Actively engage in assigned projects including reviewing project specifications to ensure complete and accurate drawings and documentation; traveling to project sites; and creating detailed drawings and maps using CAD software; collaborating with the project manager to prepare project reports and plans.
- Coordinate printing and assembly of specification books, binding of reports, and production of final plans and exhibits for in-house review, clients, and government agencies.
- Review and check detailed drawings and layouts in support of the QA/QC process.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Technical Degree is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- 2-5 Years of experience is required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD, and other industry software
- Experience in trail and/or multi-modal transportation, or the motivation to learn this specialty, is required
- Travel is primarily local during the business day.
- Must have a valid driver's license and possess a driving record that will enable the employee to be insurable under the Company's standard vehicle insurance and general comprehensive liability insurance without additional costs to the Company.
