This role is perfect for a driven individual with a strong background in civil engineering and a passion for managing complex projects. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial and industrial civil construction, and hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD is a must, as well as experience with RFPs and RFQs. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role.

Job Details
We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for a driven individual with a strong background in civil engineering and a passion for managing complex projects. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial and industrial civil construction, and hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD is a must, as well as experience with RFPs and RFQs. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of civil construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Prepare and submit RFPs and RFQs, and conduct contract negotiations.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety and building regulations, as well as any environmental legislation.
- Use Civil 3D and AutoCAD to design and plan projects.
- Proactively identify and resolve any potential issues that may impact project delivery.
- Create and present project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in civil project management, specifically within the commercial and industrial sectors.
- Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Experience with RFPs and RFQs.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and environmental legislation.
- Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A team player with strong leadership skills.
