This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, specifically within the Department of Transportation (DOT).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, particularly in relation to DOT standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure financial health of projects.
- Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance productivity and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards during project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the civil engineering sector, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- P.E. License (Professional Engineer) is preferred, but not required.
