Job description
We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to work under the guidance senior Project and Operations Managers. This individual will support various operational areas, including project management, business development, and estimating. Responsibilities include assisting with project estimates and bids, conducting site visits, and preparing material and quantity takeoffs. The Project Engineer will work closely with field teams to track and update as-built conditions and will serve as the primary point of contact with clients, managing communication and addressing specific customer requests. Participation in site meetings and ensuring follow-up on action items are essential components of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support project management by preparing bids, estimates, and other documentation for ongoing and future projects.
- Conduct on-site inspections and provide detailed takeoffs for materials and quantities.
- Assist foremen, superintendents, and project managers in tracking as-built conditions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Represent the company during client meetings, including safety, scheduling, and coordination discussions, and ensure all action items are tracked and addressed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, including managing high-demand relationships and meeting specific customer requirements.
- Document project activities thoroughly and maintain accurate records for reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Up to three years of professional experience in the construction industry.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans.
- Competency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with some experience in PowerPoint.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test and wear a respirator on designated sites.

Pay: $80,962.00 - $100,000.00 per year
