We are seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer to oversee and manage various civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing engineering solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional developments, with a focus on water resources and stormwater management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and constraints.
- Design and plan site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility systems using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Prepare and submit permit applications and other regulatory documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Conduct erosion and sediment control planning and implementation on construction sites.
- Review and approve project designs, calculations, and related documentation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Civil Project Management
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) required (PE license strongly preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Strong understanding of land development, site design, and utility design principles.
- Background with water resources, stormwater management, and drainage design.
