Civil Litigation Paralegal - Gpac

About the Job
We have a great opportunity with a well-established law firm specializing in workers' rights and personal injury matters as they seek an experienced paralegal for their recognized team. We are searching for a detail-oriented and proactive paralegal with a minimum of three years of litigation experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys with various tasks related to case management and litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file documents in state and federal courts.
- Draft court documents, including Table of Authorities (TOA) and Table of Contents (TOC).
- Assist attorneys in preparing and formatting discovery documents.
- Manage and calendar litigation deadlines.
- Input and track calendar entries using deadline management software and Outlook.
- Process daily incoming and outgoing mail and electronic notifications.
- Coordinate with attorneys’ services and overnight couriers for filing and serving documents.
- Scan, organize, and manage documents, including e-filing and serving.
- Assist attorneys and staff with daily administrative tasks.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong word processing skills for document preparation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
