Our established legal firm, with a history spanning over 50 years in St. Louis, is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our dedicated team. At our firm, we prioritize protecting the rights of individuals who have suffered injuries, and we are committed to providing unparalleled legal services to our clients across Missouri and Southern Illinois.
Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to personal injury claims, workplace incidents, and product liability cases.
- Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to build strong cases, staying abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and precedents.
- Client Interaction: Establish and maintain strong client relationships by providing personalized attention, clear communication, and compassionate legal guidance.
- Court Appearances: Represent clients in various court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Documentation: Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements
- Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with opposing parties to reach favorable settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
- Legal Strategy: Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Missouri and/or Illinois Bar.
- Proven experience in civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury and related matters.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently.
