We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Civil Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage civil litigation from assignment to conclusion. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong legal expertise and the ability to independently handle complex legal matters. The attorney will be responsible for drafting pleadings, managing discovery, representing clients in court hearings and mediations, and directly communicating with clients. Additionally, the attorney will have the opportunity to conduct internal and external trainings.
Description of Duties:
• Manage cases from assignment through to conclusion, ensuring thorough and effective handling at every stage.
• Draft court pleadings, legal memoranda, and correspondence, ensuring precision and clarity.
• Oversee discovery processes, including depositions, filings, and motion defense.
• Represent clients independently at court hearings (live and telephonic) and mediations, advocating for their best interests.
• Conduct internal and external training sessions to enhance the knowledge and skills of the team and clients.
• Maintain direct communication with clients, providing updates and expert legal guidance as needed.
Essential Skills and Experience:
• 2-5 years of jurisdictional experience in civil litigation.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of [insert state] and admitted to all Federal District Courts within the state, or willing to get admitted.
• Member in good standing with the [insert state] Bar Association.
• Strong legal research skills and the ability to apply findings to complex cases.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is consistently required to: walk; use hands to finger, grasp, feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop and consistently sit, talk or hear. Employees may be required to perform all functions on a repetitive basis.
Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally; lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, to include the human body.

Work Schedule:
The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
