Job Description:
Reputable law firm, located in Eastern Massachusetts, specializes in providing high-quality legal services to prominent local businesses. With a focus on commercial litigation and legal disputes within the business community, we pride ourselves on our deep understanding of Massachusetts law and our commitment to fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including legal disputes in business, contract disputes, and other business-related issues.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, motions, and briefs with precision and attention to detail.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and effectively advocate on their behalf.
- Assist in the growth and development of our commercial litigation practice by expanding our presence in the local business community.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through active engagement in local events, golf tournaments, and nonprofit activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients and uphold the highest standards of legal excellence.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Massachusetts Bar License (Required).
- 1+ years of experience in civil litigation, preferably within a law firm setting.
- Demonstrated experience in the courtroom and taking depositions; trial experience is a plus.
- Strong legal research and writing skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently, while also collaborating effectively with team members.
- Client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes.
