Civil Litigation Associate - Gallian Firm

We are hiring a civil litigation attorney with 3-10 years of litigation experience.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $175,000 depending on experience. There are a number of ways to INCREASE the yearly takehome amount - quarterly bonus based on hours, merit bonus, and client origination bonus.

Position Overview

The Associate Attorney will assist Partner Jaclyn Gallian with cases and manage their own caseload with substantial independence. Our firm handles a broad spectrum of cases, ranging from business and commercial disputes, and various civil defense matters including: labor and employment, premises liability, product liability, and tort.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Draft briefs and pleadings.
• Handle discovery, including written discovery and taking/defending depositions.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis and tackle complex factual and legal issues.
• Represent clients effectively at hearings and trials.
• Engage in business development activities and expand your professional network.
• Collaborate closely with team members and support staff to maintain case flow and client satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:

J.D. Required from an accredited law school

Member of Good Standing with the Texas Bar.

3+ years of litigation experience.

Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.

Independent worker, focused on accuracy.

Ability to manage time and deadlines proactively.
