Job Details
Duties:
Represent clients in civil litigation matters, focusing on insurance defense and personal injury cases.
Manage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
Participate in trials and hearings, providing strategic legal support in the courtroom.
Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare detailed reports for clients and senior attorneys.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and colleagues to develop case strategies and provide legal guidance to clients.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
Ensure case deadlines and documentation are met promptly.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on defense or personal injury law.
Experience handling trials and case management, including drafting and responding to motions, discovery, and pleadings.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and interpret complex legal issues.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey legal information to clients and colleagues.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
California State Bar license in good standing
