Civil Litigation Associate Attorney at GPAC

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys in the firm's Civil Litigation practice group.
• Handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters including but not limited to commercial disputes, personal injury cases, employment litigation, and contract disputes.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Participate in all stages of litigation, including discovery, hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to provide comprehensive legal counsel.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Virginia.
• 2-7 years of civil litigation experience at a reputable law firm or relevant legal setting.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure, legal research, and excellent legal writing skills.
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team-oriented environment.
