Civil Land Development Engineer II - REC

Title: Civil Land Development Engineer II (4-8 years of experience)

Location: Greenwood Village, CO

Salary: $85-$105k DOE

Job Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer with 4-8 years of experience and proficiency in Civil 3D to enhance a growing Land Development team. This position provides a hybrid work environment, accommodating both remote and office-based work options based on individual needs.

Responsibilities:

• Autonomous execution of design tasks, drafting construction drawings, compiling reports, calculations, and related project deliverables under initial guidance from the Project Manager, with minimal supervision.
• Efficient management of details for multiple concurrent projects.
• Collaborative work with Design Engineers and technicians on Land Development projects.
• Participation in scope and fee development, as well as budget oversight.
• Proficient delivery of technical services and deliverables, emphasizing quality.
• Demonstrating initiative, judgment, and expertise within designated responsibilities.
• Application of standardized techniques, procedures, and criteria in task execution.
• Preparation and review of various work products, including drawings, layouts, surveys, and estimates.
• Effective communication and interaction with internal teams, project partners, clients, and government agencies at local, state, and federal levels.
• Coordination with team members and stakeholders in specific project assignments.
• Possible client interactions and travel to client sites.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Sciences in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program.
• Professional Engineering license in Colorado preferred or the ability to obtain reciprocity within 1 year.
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant Land Development design engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation.
• Capacity to work in a dynamic environment with frequent discussions and visitors without losing focus.
• Capability to lift up to 20 lbs.
