Civil Field Engineer - Davron LLC

We are seeking a Field Engineer for a role based in Mundelein, Illinois, with a highly respected and innovative company that specializes in transportation and water infrastructure projects. With a focus on topographical surveys, GIS data collection, and construction contract administration, this position offers the chance to work closely on-site during the busy construction season while transitioning to design work in the winter. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Field Engineer position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 5+ years of civil engineering or construction management experience preferred.
• Experience in data collection, topographical surveying, and GIS.
• Construction contract administration, including managing contractor RFIs, pay applications, and shop drawings.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software like MicroStation or AutoCAD.
• Onsite construction observation, preconstruction document reviews, and start-up commissioning guidance.
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Illinois preferred but not required.

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
