Civil Estimator/ Engineer - Gpac

A well established, long standing and very stable company of 200 years is searching for a Civil Estimator. They are looking for someone with experience with highway work, bridges, utility, and marine work as well as, Dock work, dcut banks, sheet piling, rigging, water supply etc. This role is office-based with some day-travel to the work sites. They are looking for someone who is self-sufficient and has preferably some engineering background as well.

Requirements For Civil Estimator  

• 5- 10 years of experience in civil construction
• Heavy civil construction experience 
• Good documentation skills
• Proactive in solving issues quickly
• Timely and Organized
• Experienced in employee supervision, development, and mentoring

Responsibilities for Civil Estimator

• Work well with all other team members
• Effectively communicate progress/problems with relevant team members
• Prepare Project Production Schedules 
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
• Ability to maintain and develop client relationships
• Work with Field Superintendent to coordinate all aspects of job
• Estimating projects
