The Civil Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, specializing in civil works such as bridges, highways, marine structures, and railways.

Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze project plans and specifications to prepare cost estimates for civil construction projects.
- Develop and maintain databases of historical cost data for various types of civil projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project scope and requirements.
- Utilize estimating software such as HCSS for accurate and efficient estimates.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals including scope, pricing, and schedule.
- Participate in bid presentations and negotiations with clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor project costs and provide financial reports as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
- 3+ years heavy civil estimating experience
- Bridge experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- HCSS or similar
