Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking a graduate **Civil Engineering** position in the Surface Transportation group based in **Grand Rapids, Michigan.** This position is expected to begin in January & May 2025 **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Builds analytic and design skills. + Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer. + Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer. + Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer. + Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. + Performs work by agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Must be a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or higher focusing on Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with AutoCAD and/or Bentley CAD drafting software. + Experience in Highway Alignment Design. + Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. **Additional Information** + Relocation assistance is not available for this position. + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available for this position now or in the future. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
