We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Project Manager to join our fast-paced Engineering team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is looking to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a variety of construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role requires a high level of expertise in roadway design, transportation engineering, project management, and the use of design software such as MicroStation and AutoCAD.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management, from planning to implementation.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various technical personnel during all project phases.
3. Review contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
4. Manage and oversee the work of junior staff, providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.
5. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards, and report issues.
6. Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.
7. Develop and manage budget and financial plans for projects.
8. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
9. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
10. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Qualifications:
1. BS in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
2. 3+ years of experience in project management roles within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on roadway design and transportation engineering.
3. Professional Engineer (PE) license or Civil EIT certification is highly desirable.
4. Proven experience with design software, including MicroStation and AutoCAD.
5. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
6. Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
7. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
8. Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
9. Strong understanding of industry-specific rules and regulations.
10. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
