Civil Engineer, Staff at AllTek Staffing

Alltek Staffing is partnering with an area civil engineering consulting firm that focuses on land development and surveying. Our client has been in the area for over 20 years and has a need for a staff level Civil Engineer.

Job Details:

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Perform erosion and sediment control and stormwater management design calculations.
• Without guidance, prepare engineering plans, application forms, and other necessary documents required for local, state, and federal permits.
• Perform quantity take-offs for projects.
• Participate in field visits and client meetings as required.
• Lead and manage multi-disciplinary projects.
• Assist in developing, training, and mentoring staff.
• Identify and participate in professional organizations and networking activities.

Education and Experience:

• B.S. in civil engineering or similar field from an accredited university.  
• 3+ years of civil site engineering experience.
• Candidate should be proficient with utilizing design software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D. Oil and Gas Exp a plus.
• Plan and construction documents preparation (engineering analysis, plans, reports, specifications and cost estimate).
• Demonstrated experience with grading and drainage.
