Responsibilities:
- Aiding in project management tasks.
- Collaborating within an engineering and drafting team dedicated to infrastructure projects.
- Executing engineering calculations, designs, cost estimates, and specifications.
- Participating in planning and public gatherings.
- Preparing for and participating in client presentations.
- Contributing to the development of plans and reports.
- Guiding and supervising junior engineers and drafters.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a B.S. in Civil Engineering (An M.S. is highly advantageous).
- A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas (with experience in the Department of Transportation and municipal work considered a bonus).
- A minimum of 4 years of engineering design experience.
- Proficiency in utilizing the latest editions of Microstation and/or AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- A strong foundation in technical design.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- A paramount commitment to providing exceptional client service, along with expertise in specific technical areas and a proactive mindset.
