Responsibilities:
As the Civil Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for the following:
Team Leadership:
Lead and inspire a team of 20 designers, effectively communicating the needs of clients and the company.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Project Management:
Manage diverse projects including High-Density Residential, Shopping Centers, Auto Dealerships, Gas Stations, Amusement Parks, and QSR developments.
Establish and oversee design criteria, ensuring compliance with general design standards.
Work closely with the Principal to produce accurate and competitive proposals for business development.
Design Oversight:
Lead a team of associate and design engineers, employing an efficient and effective problem-solving management style.
Establish project parameters to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality plans.
Collaboration:
Work directly with the Principal to develop and implement project strategies.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
Professional Certification:
Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of California (or in the process of obtaining).
Technical Skills:
Expertise in AutoCAD / Civil 3D.
Excellent ability to prepare grading plans, utility plans, and site plans.
Leadership Skills:
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
5-10 years of experience in land development, including design and permits.
Deadline Management:
Proven ability to meet demanding deadlines.
