Position Overview: As a Civil Engineer Project Manager specializing in Airport Development, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing a variety of airport-related projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and enhancement of aviation infrastructure in the Charleston region. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of airport engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of airport development projects.
• Manage project teams and coordinate with various stakeholders, including aviation authorities, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure compliance with federal aviation regulations (FAR) and other relevant standards.
• Oversee the preparation of engineering designs, plans, and specifications for airport facilities.
• Conduct project feasibility studies, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Implement effective project management processes to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and resolve engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree is a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of South Carolina.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on airport development.
• Proven track record of successfully managing airport projects from concept to completion.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and airport design standards.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed for project assignments.
