Civil Engineer (PE) | Solar - Davron LLC

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Licensed Civil Engineer position include:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred) with a Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 4 years in the renewable energy or solar industry.
• Lead civil engineering efforts, including site layout, grading, drainage, access roads, and foundation design for solar projects.
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and PV-specific tools to prepare detailed engineering drawings and site plans.
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and geotechnical investigations to inform project designs.
• Oversee the preparation of construction documents, permitting processes, and coordination with regulatory authorities.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and cost-effective project designs.
• Provide support during construction, managing schedules, reviewing contractor submittals, and ensuring quality control of civil works.
• 10 – 20% travel to visit project sites and meet with clients.

Salary: $100,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus an annual performance bonus.
