The successful candidate will be a key part of our team, working on a variety of projects that shape our community and infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and oversee the construction of various civil engineering projects, such as buildings, roads, bridges, and construction sites.
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
- Utilize design software to prepare engineering and design documents.
- Conduct feasibility studies for proposed projects, presenting findings to management and clients.
- Oversee project workflow and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and public authorities, to ensure project success.
- Provide technical advice to project team members and resolve design and implementation issues.
- Prepare bid documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in site engineering.
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Proven experience in managing a civil engineering project.
- Proficient in Civil 3D.
- Experience in: Roads/Highway/DOT, Residential/Commercial/Multi-Family, Site Engineering
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
