Civil Engineer from System One

As a Civil Engineer, you will be part of a growing team managing the design of water and wastewater collection, pumping and treatment facilities and transportation related projects.  You will have the opportunity to lead projects in Oklahoma City area as well as collaborate with colleagues at multiple office locations to provide project services to clients in the public sector, manufacturing, solid waste and mining markets.  You will take part in managing the design, quality control, client service, budgeting, and mentoring a staff of designers, engineers and scientists.  . Interacting with clients, contractors, local government officials, you will impact the whole project - from conceptual/planning and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, construction, all the way through project completion and delivery of a functional operation.
Qualifications

• 5 to 10+ years’ experience; 
• BS in Civil Engineering, with emphasis on one of the following areas:
  • Emphasis on water and wastewater treatment design
  • Emphasis on water and wastewater distribution
  • Emphasis on transportation roadway design
  • Emphasis on transportation bridge design 
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.) required;
• Ability to speak and write professionally; 
• Ability to develop and mentor staff; 
• Ability to provide a technical review of deliverables; 
• Ability to prepare proposals and manage project execution; 
• Ability to interface with clients, network, and develop business
