Civil Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is seeking a Civil Engineer for our partnering company near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This firm needs candidates who are able to perform land development specifically grading and drainage portion of projects.

Employment Type: Contract to Direct
Location: Myrtle Beach, SC
Expected Pay Range: $32.00-$42.00 per hour before conversion, based on certifications and experience

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 5 plus years of site grading, layout, drainage, water, sewer, earthwork and sediment control for civil site design
- AutoCAD Civil 3D Proficiency

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Duties:
- Prepare civil design / construction plans, including notes and details, plan and profile sheets, and cross-sections.
- Create and submit project permitting packages.
- Prepare construction cost estimates.
- Perform water/sewer/ storm water design calculations and reporting as necessary for commercial, residential and municipal projects.
- Prepare contract documents suitable for bidding.
