Civil Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join an established firm experiencing growth. This role will be responsible for full design and engineering of project work. It is essential candidates can perform land development specifically grading and drainage portion of projects.

The engineer will be tasked with putting site packages together, utilizing AutoCAD civil 3D to assist with production, sorting permit requests for agencies, and performing storm water calculations and reports. Work will be a mixture of residential, industrial, railway, commercial, retail, and healthcare facilities.


 Responsibilities:

• Prepare civil design / construction plans, including notes and details, plan and profile sheets, and x-sections.
• Create and submit project permitting packages.
• Prepare construction cost estimates.
• Perform water/sewer/ storm water design calculations and reporting as necessary for commercial, residential and municipal projects.
• Prepare contract documents suitable for bidding.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• 5 plus years of site grading, layout, drainage, water, sewer, earthwork and sediment control for civil site design
• AutoCAD Civil 3D Proficiency
• Strong Communication Skills

Pay Rate: $32 - $42/hr
Term: 6-month temp to perm
