We are seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Civil Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and diverse engineering projects in the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be working on a variety of projects including public infrastructure, water resources, and land development.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex design computations, prepare design plans, and inspect construction site work of various engineering projects.
- Use design software to plan and design Land Development projects, hydraulic systems, and structures in line with industry and government standards.
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure that the work is carried out according to the project specifications.
- Prepare estimates for materials, equipment, and labor costs.
- Manage and lead the project team, including coordinating with architects, contractors, and client representatives.
- Prepare and present public reports on topics such as bid proposals, environmental impact statements, and property descriptions.
- Ensure project compliance with all applicable regulations, including safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Land Development projects.
- EIT is required.
- Proficient in the use of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other related software.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in hydrology and drainage.
- Experience with grading and drainage projects.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with people at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of industry, process, and regulatory standards.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
