Civil Engineer - Land Planning & Development - Gpac

Responsibilities:

• Create Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans and associated documentation
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and studies
• Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with professionals and project team members
• Lead site/civil efforts on various projects, managing site layout, grading, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management design from concept through completion
• Ensure project schedules and deliverables are met consistently
• Design roadway geometrics, pavements, grading, storm sewer, cross sections, MOT, traffic signals, and ADA ramps
• Perform designs from preliminary through final design
• Develop plans, specifications, reports, and quantity computations
• Ensure design compliance with state/local codes, ordinances, and agency requirements
• Work independently and collaboratively to make informed decisions

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Land Development Design
• BS in Civil Engineering 
• New Yorrk PE Licensure required
• Proficiency with MicroStation, Geopak, AutoCAD, and PowerGeopak, 
• Experience in Civil 3D
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently

Compensation/Benefits:

• $175,000 - $200,000
