Title: Land Development Civil Engineer

Location: Dana Point, CA

Compensation: $110-150k DOE

Award winning, multi-discipline planning, design and engineering firm with over 65 years of serving clients in both the public and private sectors. We maintain divisions that focus on civil engineering, urban design & planning, community planning, landscape architecture, transportation & traffic engineering, surveying, mapping, aerial photogrammetry, water resources, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and 3D laser scanning. We are rapidly growing and looking to add a Land Development Civil Engineer in our Dana Point office.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and Manage land development projects - start to finish
• Ensure compliance with civil engineering standards and regulations
• Oversee project budgets and timelines
• Provide technical advice and coordinate with other team members to ensure successful land development projects
• Provide guidance, training and mentorship to junior engineering staff
• Ensure accuracy, quality and efficiency of engineering work
• Monitor project progress and make changes when necessary
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  
  

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Engineer (P.E.), EIT also considered
• 3+ years experience within Land Development Civil Engineering
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
• Previous experience in an office management capacity
  
  

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
