Civil Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Are you seeking a new role in Civil Engineering? Selectek is partnering with a company in Lakeland, Florida to hire qualified Civil Engineers. This firm specializes in large-scale industrial plants, and potential candidates will be heavily involved in the land development process for new projects.

Employment Type: Contract to Direct
Location: Lakeland, Florida
Expected Pay Range: $30.00-$45.00 per hour depending on experience before conversion to permanent employee status.

Job Duties:
- Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of land development projects
- Modify existing projects based on scope
- Utilize knowledge of roadways, waterline, lift stations, and requirements for permitting
- Perform field verification and support during construction
- Travel to job sites as required
- Participate in project review meetings throughout the process

Job Requirements:
- Degree in Design Technology or Civil Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience with land development and design
- Proficiency in Civil3D  
- Design, drafting, and modeling skills in both 2D and 3D 
- Knowledge of industry or regulatory standards and codes for required civil design, including SFWMD and FDEP regulations
- Ideal candidates have GIS experience and know drainage software
