Responsibilities:- Assists senior engineers in highway/roadway improvement projects.
- Performs highway improvement design including freeway, ramps, local streets, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT), signing and striping, retaining wall, and sound wall.
- Prepares various type of plan sheets, including Layout, Profile, Construction Detail, signing and striping, and others.
- Assist with quantity takeoffs and engineers’ estimate.
- Supports senior engineers and managers in preparing exhibits, reports, and technical memo.
- Coordinates with various discipline design leaders including drainage, utility, traffic, electrical, and structural.
Performs work with moderate supervision
Qualifications:- BS in Civil Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience. Master’s degree preferred.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate.
- Proficient in Microstation. AutoCAD knowledge is beneficial.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience in Inroads and Civil 3D design software is a plus.
| Compensation: In accordance with local law, the following compensation range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition: $35-$45/HR. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
