MacKay Sposito is seeking a full time Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team. Preferred project experience in land development and public road design, including grading design, water and sanitary sewer design, road plan and profiles, and storm drainage design however recent college graduates will be considered. Responsibilities: + Ability to understand and resolve engineering problems and adapt approved engineering methods and standards + Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications and construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations. + Meet deadlines, communicate and work closely in a team environment, and execute complex engineering activities reliably. + Prepare engineering designs and specifications on assigned portions of a project accurately and in a timely manner. + Ability to build and maintain professional co-worker, client, and community relationships. Qualifications: + Requires a Bachelor of Science degree with major coursework in civil engineering, public works, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent in work experience + Preferred 2+ years of experience in Civil Engineering or related; land development experience is required. + Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications in Civil Engineering in AutoCAD Civil 3D, WWHM2012, HydroCAD etc) + EIT certification preferred Our Values: At MacKay Sposito, we're serious about our work, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations. The wage range for this position is $34.00 - $42.00 per hour depending on placement into a Civil Engineer I - Civil Engineer IV title.
