We are currently in search of a dynamic and highly skilled Civil Engineer with an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering projects, including the design and construction of hydraulic, hydrologic, stormwater, and wastewater systems. The candidate will also have a solid understanding of drainage systems, environmental engineering, and the ability to utilize Civil 3D software. This role requires at least 5 years of industry experience. Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and construct a variety of complex civil engineering projects, ensuring all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
2. Utilize Civil 3D software for the preparation of detailed engineering drawings and design layouts.
3. Oversee the development of hydraulic, hydrologic, stormwater, and wastewater systems.
4. Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments and develop sustainable solutions for environmental engineering challenges.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met within the stipulated timelines and budgets.
6. Conduct site inspections and monitor the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
7. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, providing updates on project status, challenges, and proposed solutions.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil and environmental engineering.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
2. Must have an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or be working towards it currently.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on hydraulic, hydrologic, stormwater, and wastewater systems.
4. Proficiency in Civil 3D or similar civil engineering design software is mandatory.
5. Strong knowledge of environmental engineering principles and practices.
6. Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. A solid understanding of industry safety standards and regulations.
10. Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
