Job Description:
Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Civil Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in construction design, foundation systems, and structural analysis. This role will involve collaborating with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality projects, ensuring compliance with building codes, and contributing to project scope definition and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design various foundation systems, including concrete piers, slabs, grade beams, retaining walls, and helical piles.
• Ensure all designs meet applicable building codes and standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to resolve field issues efficiently.
• Optimize foundation design processes and provide support to the sales team with foundation quotes.
• Perform comprehensive structural calculations and draft detailed technical specifications.
• Create, review, and finalize foundation drawings for accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of foundation design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with RISA, RAM, HILTI, or similar engineering software is preferred.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical reports and anchorage design principles.
• PE license or the ability to obtain is a plus.
