This role involves working on various temporary structures, including bridges and deep foundations, and applying engineering principles to solve complex construction challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Design and analyze temporary structures such as bridges, cofferdams, and falsework.
- Manage crane lifts, erection sequencing, and staged construction activities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control evaluations to ensure construction work meets project specifications.
- Collaborate with project management to develop project plans, estimates, and timelines.
- Provide on-site engineering support and guidance to construction teams during all phases of the project.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development through effective leadership and communication.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure adherence to safety protocols on all job sites.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 5+ years professional civil engineer experience
- Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Finite Element Analysis Software
- Bridge experience
