We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Professional Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position where you will be tasked with an array of responsibilities revolving around civil engineering, land development, drainage, grading, and water resources. This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment. Responsibilities:
1. Design and oversee civil engineering projects, including but not limited to land development, drainage systems, grading, and water resource management.
2. Prepare and review technical documents, such as project plans, reports, and specifications.
3. Conduct site inspections to ensure projects are proceeding according to design and are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and project managers, to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
5. Utilize advanced engineering software and technology to optimize project outcomes.
6. Perform feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
7. Provide expert advice and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements, and best practices.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Professional Engineer, with a focus on civil engineering, land development, drainage, grading, and water resources.
3. Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE).
4. Proficient in using engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
5. In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, and procedures.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
7. Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
9. Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
10. A proven track record of successfully completed engineering projects.
