Civil Engineering Analyst
As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active Secret clearance.
The Civil Engineering Analyst is responsible for analyzing and evaluating civil engineering projects, designs, and systems. They apply their technical expertise and analytical skills to assess the feasibility, performance, and safety of various engineering structures and infrastructure projects. Civil Engineering Analysts also prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations based on their findings to support decision-making processes. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, architects, and project managers, to ensure that projects meet design standards, regulations, and client requirements.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Civil Engineering Analyst
- Salary starts at $105,000.00
Pay commensurate with experience.

Civil Engineering Analyst Responsibilities Include:
- Technical civil engineering service support for AMIC led acquisition counternarcotic (CN) chartered missions;
- Civil engineering technical subject matter expertise is required to develop, acquire, and execute engineering technical solutions and provide SME for contract management functions to meeting the CN acquisition requirements of the CCMD department;
- Engineer technical support to AIR COMBAT COMMAND (ACC) AMIC's CN acquisition program to include development, acquisition support, quality assurance and execution of projects worldwide;
- Temporary duty may be required to The Continental U.S (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) locations including travel to austere locations, up to 50% of OCONUS travel is required.
- Conducts site surveys to capture mission partner construction related requirements for current and future projects
- Develops Performance Work Statements for execution by contract
- Coordinate Program Management reviews
- Provides solution recommendations to resolve construction program related problems
- Conduct construction performance inspections for conformance to contract requirements
- Develops DD Form 1391 Military Construction Program Data and DD Form 1354 Transfer and Acceptance of DoD Real Property in support of the construction program.
- Reviews and evaluates contractor project schedules, progress reports, and material submittals for compliance with contract requirements
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Civil Engineering Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Qualifications:
- Education
- High school diploma required
- Experience
- Engineer technician with a general construction/engineering background of at least ten years
- Clearance
- Must hold an active SECRET clearance & US Citizenship
- Skills
- Experience shall include technical subject matter expertise to develop, acquire, execute civil engineering technical solutions for operational and tactical customers, and provide subject matter expert (SME) for contract management functions to meeting acquisition requirements.
- Experience applying US standards (e.g., UFCs, NEC, NFPA) to OCONUS locations / projects that are accomplished in short duration
- Must be able to work without direct supervision and be a self-started
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and judgment skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Previous military or Federal agency experience
- Additional Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications required by Cherokee Federal
- International and domestic travel required
