What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead pivotal projects to enhance community infrastructure, offering innovative solutions in sectors such as land development, transportation, and municipal work, catering to a broad client base.
- Provide mentorship to entry-level staff, significantly contributing to their professional development and fostering a culture of learning and expertise.
- Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with dedicated, high-quality service.
- Encourage a workplace atmosphere that promotes both personal and professional growth, where collaboration is the cornerstone of team success.

Your Expertise
- Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in DC, MD, VA, or ready to extend your licensure to meet new challenges across states.
- Bring at least five years of rich experience in engineering or construction, with a deep understanding of the DC/MD/VA region's unique demands.
- Display your design mastery through AutoCAD Civil 3D and Water CAD, tools that you wield to bring visions to life.
- Communicate with clarity and confidence, both in writing and in person, engaging clients and stakeholders with ease and professionalism.
- Juggle multiple projects with finesse, keeping everything on track with your exceptional organizational skills.
- Demonstrate a passionate dedication to client service, always aiming to surpass expectations and deliver memorable support.
- Take pride in nurturing the growth of our newer team members, sharing your knowledge through mentorship and tailored training sessions.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Duties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table.
- Occasionally may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs.
- Occasionally visiting project locations and performing field inspections which may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain.
- Traveling to project sites or client meetings, which may involve driving or flying.
Additional Information
Compensation
The base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills. The expected base range for a qualified candidate with 15+ years of experience is $110,000 - $145,000. Additionally, we offer performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding contributions in each Reporting Center.
