This position may be based out of our Louisville or Denver office. A minimum of three days per week of travel to the Louisville office will be required during the first three months.
What you will do:
- As a key member of?our team, you’ll benefit from a collaborative process providing our clients with award-winning transportation project design documents.
- You’ll have the opportunity to manage project assignments with other team members to review, revise, or create project plans and deliverables, based on input received from the project manager or PE.
- Perform design services related to roadway and site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control in conformance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation OpenRoads.
- Prepare specifications and cost estimates.
- Plan and coordinate project tasks from verbal direction with limited supervision.
- Provide construction support services.
What you bring:
- Minimum of 2 to 6 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, emphasizing transportation, public infrastructure, drainage, utilities, site development, and civic projects for municipal and private clients.
- Bachelor’s in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent education is required.
- Must be enrolled as an Engineer Intern (EI) and/or have your Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to acquire.
- Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation OpenRoads.
- Knowledge of local and state regulations and codes, including AASHTO, CDOT, NACTO, and MUTCD design guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a creative, professional team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $76,000 - $100,00 per year
