Civil Design Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer for our partnering company near Greensboro, North Carolina. This firm focuses on large-scale commercial projects, and potential candidates will be heavily involved in the land development and site design portions of the process.

Employment Type: Contract to Direct
Location: Greensboro, NC
Expected Pay Range: $30.00-$48.00 per hour before conversion, based on certifications and experience
This growing firm also has offices in Charlotte, NC looking to hire for similar roles.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
- Passed FE Exam
- 3+ years of experience with site and land development including layout, grading, drainage, and erosion control in commercial markets.
- Familiarity with current codes, design guidelines, and stormwater management best practices
- Experience with Civil3D  

In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Duties:
- Design commercial land development projects
- Create site development plans for layout, grading, utilities, sewer and storm drainage
- Perform stormwater and sanitary sewer design calculations
- Review existing utilities and grading information on as-recorded documents
- Travel to job sites as required
- Work with clients and team members from initial schematic design through construction administration
