Civil Construction Site Supervisor
DETAILS:
- Direct hire position
- Pay Rate: $75,000 - $100,000 annual salary, based on experience
- Job Location: 100% on-site in Anamosa, IA

If so, the Site Supervisor role may be the opportunity you have been looking for. The Site Supervisor is responsible for the accountability of activities on site and collaborates in project decision-making with the direction of the project management team. This role coordinates activities and is a liaison between office, field, vendors, and subcontractors.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Proficient at interpreting specifications and reading blueprints.
- Knowledge of materials required for Civil construction projects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or construction science/construction management.
- Minimum of five (5) experience in construction project management or related field
- Bluebeam, email, spreadsheets, online plans, document storage, and B2W.
- Training and Certifications Preferred: First Aid/CPR, OSHA and/or PEC Safe land, Confined Space & Trenching and Excavation, and Fall Protection
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand plans, specs, controlling operations, and sequence of operations across the site.
- Track progress towards completion, with awareness of milestones and completion dates.
- Coordinate subcontractors and crews on site to prevent delays, resolve conflicts, and ensure work is performed to specification and on schedule.
- Document and track potential changes to scope, conditions, or direction from the inspector.
- Measure quantities of all pay items associated with assigned projects including locations, stations, measurements, and calculations.
- Maintain current and accurate as-builts on site.
- Direct traffic for deliveries on site and point of contact for trucks.
- Attend progress meetings as well as all on-site meetings.
- Coordinate utility locates and relocates, handling marking schedules.
- Participate in or conduct weekly erosion control inspections.
- Inspect traffic control and keep records as required.
- Inspect the site regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with all environmental, safety, and quality standards.
- Document and submit reports for all on-site incidents.
- Participate in preliminary and final inspections.
- Other duties as assigned.
