Civil Construction Crew Member - ANCO

Overview:

Work with the crew and site supervisor with the installation of underground utilities, foundations, flat work and access roads. 

Job Duties:

• Drive equipment and job materials to the site and stage as needed. 
• Excavate foundations in various terrains & soil conditions using heavy machinery.  
• Assist with the installation of rebar cages in accordance with site drawings. 
• Assist with the installation of concrete foundations, flatwork and finishing. 
• Backfilling foundations and trenches to include compaction testing.  
• Restore topsoil and install stone, mulch, erosion control and minor hardscape features
• Assist with the installation of site access roads to include compaction. 
• Clean up site of debris.
• Clean, check fluid levels and conduct a visual inspection of vehicle and equipment.
• Comply with safety procedures while driving and performing work at the job site.

Qualifications:

• A valid Driver’s License
• Basic knowledge and ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to travel
• Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions. 
• Lift up to 75 pounds
