**Immediate Opportunity**
**Hybrid work schedule for 2 weeks, then remote work**
CSEngineering is looking to add a Civil Architect to our growing team! As a Civil Architect at Good Fellow AFB, you will be supporting the 17th Civil Engineering Squadron (17 CES) in their mission to provide services in Facility Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM), Military Construction (MILCON) and Non-Appropriated Programs (NAF).
CLIENT OVERVIEW
The 17th Civil Engineer Squadron (17 CES) supports Facility Sustainment, Restoration & Modernization (FSRM), MILCON (Military Construction) and Non-Appropriated (NAF) programs. This work is for specific functions related to Air Force Program Management, Cost Estimating, Architectural/Engineering Design and Construction Management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, add, alter, and remodel projects to include but not limited to Elevators, Command Centers, Splash Park Shade, Fire Station, ad dormitories.
- Review project designs to ensure construction relations and code and stakeholder requirements are met.
- Accomplish Architectural Assessments (e.g., Architectural Barrier Assessments) and properly adding and incorporating results into Construction Document packages.
- Facilitate and run design review meetings for construction projects to ensure projects are on time and on schedule and meet stakeholders' objectives.
- Provide civil design expertise on all types of contract programming, facility design and construction projects.
- Ensure that all civil architecture with assigned projects is accomplished in accordance with governing plans, specifications and in accordance with the terms of the contract.
- Perform document development services to include design guide and standards.
- Provide policy documents, prototype designs, design manuals, and cost projections for each project.
- Fully comply with all DoD Unified Facility Codes (UFCs) and all US Air Force publications including Air Force Instructions and Manuals.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-9 years civil architect experience.
- Must have extensive knowledge of PACES & M2 (cost-estimating programs used by DoD) and 1391s.
- An in-depth knowledge of Air Force organizational structures, functions, and procedures as well as command relationships and responsibilities.
- Experience working on Air Force, or government-related construction, design, facility sustainment projects.
- Minimum of BA/BS in a related field
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
