Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
- Perform network configuration and troubleshooting to resolve complex network issues and ensure smooth operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
- Monitor network performance and capacity to identify and address potential bottlenecks or issues proactively.
- Configure and maintain Cisco Prime and Cisco Catalyst Center for network management and monitoring.
- Stay updated on the latest Cisco technologies and best practices to continuously improve network infrastructure.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to maintain accurate network documentation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and assist with their professional development.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies or incidents promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of relative experience
- CCNP and CCIE certification is a plus.
- F5 experience and understanding is a nice to have
- SD Wan experience
- NetScaler is a good to have but not required
- Proven experience working with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Hands-on experience with newer Cisco switches and Nexus switches.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco Prime and Cisco Catalyst Center.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex network issues.
- Experience with network security technologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
