Job Description:**The Expected Schedule for this fulltime position is to be onsite and support 8am-5pm PST. There is also the expectation of needing to be flexible supporting an On-Call Rotation one week a month.**This is an onsite - hybrid position, with the expectation to work 2-3 business days onsite and/or per client needs at the Pomona, CA client location.
Role Overview:Under minimal supervision, this Network Engineer will perform advanced network engineering level functions in support of a multi-site enterprise environmentThis Network Engineer will provide technical assistance, troubleshooting and perform problem resolution on all advanced network problems including LAN/WAN connectivity, Wireless networks, VOIP connectivity and applications response time issuesManage medium to large scale complex projects affecting the entire networkDesign company network architecture and will be responsible for documentation and detailed technical configuration for network equipmentSetup new company sites for accessibility to enterprise application and VOIP connectivityProvide pro-active guidance, mentorship, leadership example, and recommendations to junior team membersManagement and reporting on circuit utilization with ongoing recommendations for optimal efficiencyIdentification and resolution of hardware and software technical problems and malfunctions related to LANs/WANs environmentsMaking decisions that are critical in the areas of throughput analysis, problem solving, and infrastructure planning with potential to affect the successful execution of business transactionsProactively researching and locating necessary tools and processes to identify troublesome trends as they developEnsuring a stable performance environment for enterprise network applications and systemsParticipate in various IT projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the network infrastructureThis Senior Network Engineer will also assist in network security and manage /maintain ASA, Client and Solarwinds network components
Additional Role Responsibilities:Provide oversight and support in design, configuration, management and implementation of network environments, including Firewall, Client, LAN, WAN, VOIP connectivityDocumentation and detailed technical configuration for network equipmentSet up new company sites for accessibility to enterprise applications and VOIP connectivityISP MPLS and internet circuit provisioning and supportIdentify and resolve hardware and software technical problems and malfunctions related to LANs/WANs environmentsManage and report on circuit utilization with ongoing recommendations for optimal efficiencyEnsure a stable performance environment for enterprise network applications and systemsProactively research and locate necessary tools and processes to identify troublesome trends as they developProvide technical assistance and perform problem resolution on all advanced network problems including Firewall, Client,LAN/WAN connectivity, wireless networks, VOIP connectivity, and applications response time issuesParticipate in various IT projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the network infrastructureProvide pro-active guidance, mentorship, leadership example, and recommendations to junior team membersAssist in network security and manage/maintain Firewalls, Client, and Solarwinds network componentsParticipate in On-Call rotation (24x7) one week per month
Basic Requirements:3+ years of experience with Cisco Firepower Firewall (FTD)1+ years of experience with Cisco Client (Identity Services Engine)3+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches
Highly Preferred Skills and Experience:3+ years' experience with Microsoft AzureCCNA and CCNP certifications- Experience with Cisco VOIPExperience with Aruba remote wireless (RAP) solutionZscaler content filteringExperience with ServiceNow for incident and request ticketsExperience working with global teamsServices/Consulting industry experience working in a customer facing roleBachelor's degree preferred
