Job Title: Merchandise Retail Associate 

Duration of the Show: February 5, 2025 – March 23, 2025

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Primary Responsibilities 

• Have up-sell and sales experience.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate. 
• Collect payments, whether in cash or credit.
• Redeem coupons.
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones.
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information. 
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the merchandise area.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
• Bag, box, or gift-wrap packages.
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges. 
• (Sales Hawker): Assertive and competent selling of concession products around the front-of-site and inside the big top. 

The ideal candidate will: 

• Possess the ability to learn a point-of-sale system and retain the information. 
• Candidate must be outgoing, personable, vocal, energetic, and willing to engage with customers.
• Be comfortable working in a loud environment.
• Have a professional, clean appearance with a straight posture. Note: Employees are responsible for arriving in black shirts, pants and shoes (no logos).
• Be physically able to stand up for long hours.
• Understand customer service and hospitality. 
• Work well with others.
• Pay attention to the details.
• Working fast and efficiently under pressure.
• Have a welcoming and friendly attitude (smile and proper greetings).
• Know when to get the help of a supervisor.
• Availability for the whole city duration.
• English speaking is mandatory – other languages are an asset. 

Schedule:

• Working Hours: Hours will vary.
• Working Days: 5 days a week (Subject to change according to the show schedule)
