Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Counterintelligence (CI) Specialist to join our team. The CI Specialist will play a critical role in identifying, monitoring, and assessing foreign intelligence efforts that target sensitive national security information related to U.S. persons, activities, and interests. This position requires a deep understanding of foreign intelligence capabilities, U.S. and partner CI capabilities, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for comprehensive analytic research and all-source CI studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess foreign intelligence threats, particularly those posed by emerging technologies.
- Conduct in-depth analytic research and produce CI studies that contribute to the development of CI strategies.
- Develop, produce, and present instructional programs on collection operations TTPs relevant to human intelligence and technical intelligence under DoD authorities.
- Coordinate and deconflict CI operational activities conducted by Military Department CI Organizations (MDCO) impacting the Command’s area of responsibility.
- Serve as a J2X representative to the CYBERCOM Joint Operations Center (JOC), facilitating communication and support requests.
- Develop concepts for Command counterintelligence programs and prepare counterintelligence briefs for personnel engaging with foreign intelligence services or traveling to high-threat areas.
- Deliver briefings in group and individual settings, including to General/Flag Officer audiences.
Qualifications:
- Clearance: Active/current TS/SCI Security Clearance and CI Polygraph.
- Education:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution, or
- Bachelor’s degree plus five years of additional related senior experience (17 years total).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in counterintelligence or related fields, with at least a portion within the last two years.
- Demonstrated knowledge of foreign intelligence capabilities and the ability to apply this understanding in analysis and strategy development.
- Training: Graduate of the in-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or equivalent military training.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with military and intelligence community personnel.
