Description:

The CI CoE Solution Architect Finance Consultant is responsible for supporting the CoE functions of enabling the Delivery Teams, Pre-sales teams, supporting Rizing Products Development and Maintenance, other CoE Initiatives and Customer Engagements. He / She should be able to drive the overall solution design and delivery based on the business, functional and technical requirements coming from an enterprise-scale customer within the Consumer Industries / Fashion & Lifestyle industry. The solutions must satisfy business problems and meet the customer organization’s objectives, goals, and budget. He/she should possess a deep knowledge of the industry, specific module expertise and all related processes and possess the capability of articulating the business and technical requirements of the customer in a way that all stakeholders can understand.

Essential Functions:

Work / provide guidance on multiple projects simultaneously or one large-scale project

Take overall responsibility for the proposed solution by working with Project Leads to design each aspect of the solution.

Engage with CI Global CoE Solutions:

• Accountable for creation of Rizing CI solutions with a focus on Finance processes – Works in the CI Global Solutions Team to provide design input and direction on content of pre-configured solutions such as attune Fashion suite & Launchpad and tools such as MDA, Lifecycle Pricing, Quality app etc.
• Supports CI Global Solutions Lead to provide a roadmap of releases of CI solutions working in coordination with the Global Business Development teams
• Collaborates with global and regional business development teams, solution architects and regional delivery teams with knowledge of CI solutions and new functionality released by SAP
• Consults and advises customers on industry best practice solutions for Retail and Fashion
• Host knowledge sharing sessions to get the consultant community up to speed on functionality in Retail and Fashion Solutions
• Works with the COE management team in establishing and maintaining relationship with SAP Industry product development organizations (Retail & Fashion); Provide periodic feedback to enrich future releases and participate in partner validation testing to get an early insight into new functionality
• Contributes to training initiatives of the regional delivery teams from a solution perspective – ongoing training for new functionality and onboarding of new consultants
• Mentoring Consultants on global projects and implementations
• Support CI Global Solutions Lead to perform Quality assurance for strategic customer projects and in serving as an escalation point for customers from a solution perspective
• Advisory support during presales cycles – scoping, estimates and deal reviews
• Supports the Business Development teams in presales activities as needed; Work with business development team as needed to support presales demos for strategic customers
• Works with head of COE in collaboration with global business development teams to define go to market strategy and service offerings
• Works with a team of solution experts within the CI Global Solution stream
• Provide industry specific solutions & best practices to CI Global Solution initiatives and to customers when assigned to projects
• Develop a solution framework and an implementation plan for industry specific projects (at times using new dimension products).
• Conduct strategic level workshops with customers to drive an SAP solution for acceptance and implementation.
• Use and ensure that SAP solution maps, implementation and other relevant SAP methodologies/tools are effectively deployed in customer strategic workshops & deliveries.
• Ensure solutions are delivered on time and are of high quality.
• Work with the Project Manager/Programmer Manager/Consulting Manager in drafting project plan (Scope, Deliverables, Timeline and Resources), identifying team members, and preparing & assisting in the preparation of work plans.
• Lead the execution of assigned project tasks in areas of demonstrated competence. This includes facilitating meetings/task groups, tracking and managing task group progress, tracking project deliverables, etc.
• Writing and publishing white papers
• Performs other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

• General degree or equivalent/recognized professional qualifications.
• Deep understanding of cross-functional processes of enterprise applications or multiple technology platform proficiency with at least 10-12 years of functional and technical experience and industry knowledge.
• Possess a thorough understanding of integrated business environments with a deep understanding of the Fashion and Lifestyle industry.
• Knowledge and experience in the attune implementation methodology.
• A minimum of 2 complete project life cycles in an Architecting role, with customer engagement.
